Getting our GPS Trackers going
Our Caravan always has what is called a Hitch Lock on it to prevent theft when towing or stationary.
We have a gps tracker in the Car and one in the caravan, in case either is stolen so that we can trace it .. it costs about 14 NZD a month for both vehicles
Lets face it the hassle we would endure if either vehicle is stolen, it is money well invested .
so Thats all well and good but 8 weeks ago I discovered the trackers were not working..yes the sim cards are not set for roaming.
It has taken a total of 8 weeks of discussions with the GPS suppliers and a Danish phone network to get something working.
Today we managed it :
